The Moulton church of Christ invites you to attend any of our services. We love having visitors and would be honored by your presence. We aim to honor and glorify God in worshiping Him “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). As a congregation of the Lord’s Church, we seek to learn, grow, and love God and each other. God the Father
We believe God the Father is the creator of the universe and is over all, through all, and in all (Ephesians 4:6).
Jesus
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, equal with God (John 5:17-18).
Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4) and that He comes to dwell in the believer as a gift and a promise when a person is baptized (Acts 2:38; Ephesians 1:13-14).
Sin
We believe that sin entered the world in the Garden of Eden and has permeated all accountable humanity (Romans 3:23). Sin alienates us from God, and from it we can not save ourselves.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received by faith (Ephesians 2:1-10). Faith is a broad, encompassing term for several other actions. Upon hearing the message of the Gospel (Romans 10:17) and believing it (Hebrews 11:6), one must repent (Acts 17:30-31), confess Jesus as the Son of God (Matthew 10:32-33), and be baptized or fully immersed in water to receive the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38).
Christian Living
We believe that the Christian life is one of transformation and a continual process (Romans 12:1-2). As one beholds the person of Christ, he will be transformed to His image (Romans 8:29-30; 2 Corinthians 3:18). The goal of the Christian life is to be like Christ (Philippians 3:7-14).
Eternity
We believe that faithful followers of Jesus will be eternally in the presence of God (Revelation 22:4), while those rejecting Jesus will live eternally away from God (2 Thessalonians 1:5-10).
